Andrew L. Olson "Andy" Andy Olson passed away Tuesday morning, June 11, 2013 at his home in Fredonia surrounded by his family after a 2 ½ year battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 68 years old. Andy was born March 1, 1945 in West Bend, the son of Leon and Jane Mueller Olson. On June 25, 1966 he was united in marriage with Valerie Klingbyll in Germantown. For 40 years, he worked as a machinist at Badger Meter, retiring in 2007. He was a proud member of the Badger Meter Quarter Century Club. Andy also belonged to Community United Methodist Church in Cedarburg, as well as the West Bend HOG chapter, Great Lakes Sport Fisherman Club of Ozaukee County, and ABATE, a motorcycle rights and safety organization. He was an avid Packer fan who loved fishing, hunting, riding his Harley with his wife Valerie, going out on the lake with his fellow fishermen, and getting together with his Harley buddies for their Wednesday morning breakfast rides. and Sandra Buckett, both of West Best, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother David Olson. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Community United Methodist Church, W68N563 Evergreen Blvd., Cedarburg. The family will receive visitors at the church on Monday from 12:00 noon - 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Aurora VNA Hospice or the American Cancer Society for pancreatic research. The Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington is honored to be serving the family.
