Elizabeth "Betty" Van

Elizabeth "Betty" Van, 90, Green Bay, was welcomed into heaven on Tuesday, June 11, 2013. She was born on February 28, 1923 in Dubuque, Iowa, daughter of the late Skulie and Mabel (Smith) Einarson. She married Gerald "Jerry" Van on January 10, 1948 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Green Bay. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, doing Bible studies, and being a witness of the Lord to others. Betty is survived by her grandchildren, Adam (Misty) Kocha, Shawn Carnahan, Paul Van, David Van, Mike Van; three great-grandchildren and many other special friends. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband Jerry; a daughter, Mary Beth Van-Kwasny; a son, Gregory Van and a brother, Jim Einarson. Visitation will be held from 4 pm on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Celebration Church, 3475 Humboldt Road, until the memorial service at 6 pm with Rev. Garry Pierce officiating.
