Arvie Abrams

Arvie Abrams, age 88 of Springboro, Ohio passed away June 14, 2013. He was born July 11, 1924 in Berea, Kentucky the son of William and Flossie Abrams. He retired from General Motors after many years of service and was a WWII Veteran serving with the 202nd Combat Engineers. He is preceded in death by his Father, William Abrams, Mother, Flossie Abrams and eight siblings. Arvie is survived by his wife of 65 years, Pauline (Back) Abrams; 2 Daughters - Glenna (Todd) Gingerich, Janet Abrams; Brother - Wade Abrams; 2 Sisters - Dorothy Melampy, Para Lee Adkins; Grandson - Steven (Ryanne) Gingerich; Granddaughter - Christa (Jim) Franz; Great-grandson - Cedric Gingerich; Great-granddaughter - Cordelia Gingerich. He is also survived by numerous family and friends. Funeral service will be Monday, June 17, 2013 at 11:00 am with Ann Myers officiating at Anderson Funeral Home (40 North Main Street, Springboro, Ohio). Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday at Anderson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery.
