Ronald Paul Farnsworth

Ronald P. Farnsworth, 60, formerly of Keokuk, Iowa, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at his home in San Francisco. Ronald was born on February 6, 1953 in Keokuk, Iowa, the son of Thomas and Dolores (Gibson) Farnsworth. He was a graduate of Keokuk High School. He also attended four years of college at the University of San Francisco. Ronald is survived by his father Thomas Farnsworth, his brother Bruce Farnsworth of Fort Madison, his sister-in-law Cathy Roberts, his nephews Mark, Andrew and Tommy Farnsworth, and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his mother Dolores, his brother Tom, his grandparents George and Ellen Grogan Gibson and Al and Fern (Merideth) Farnsworth, and uncles and cousins. Ronald loved writing and playing music and telling jokes. He also enjoyed investigating history on Philo Farnsworth, who created the television and other inventions. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at All Saints Catholic Church. There will be no visitation.
