Services for Loren "Red" Garrison, 76 of Chariton, formerly of Fairfield will be Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Graveside services will be Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield. Family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Memorials to the American Cancer Society Red passed away June 14th at the Wayne County Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marjorie; stepson, Larry McNew; siblings: Flint Garrison, Gary Garrison, Monte Garrison, and Cindy Carter. Also surviving is his aunt, Ruth Hall and many relatives and friends. Preceding Red in death were his parents: Wilford and Esther Cornell Garrison; stepson, Ronald McNew; and sisters: Collene Branch and Nancy Thomas. [more]
