Mary Alice Lucas

Mary Alice Lucas, age 92, of Franklin, Ohio, died Saturday June 15, 2013 at Kensington Place. Mary was born in Washington Court House, Ohio on July 13, 1920 to Merrill and Nellie (Brock) Looker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Franklin since 1948, the Methodist Women's Club, cooked for Rotary and the church bazaars. Mary was preceded in death by parents Father, Merrill Looker, Mother, Nellie Looker, husband of 70 years James K. Lucas, son, James F. Lucas, daughter, Marla Carver, brothers, Carl, David, Rex and Kenneth Looker, sister, Christina Babb, and a grandson Kevin Herb. Mary is survived by her children Richard L. Lucas, Jack E. (Kristi) Lucas, Dale E. (Marsha) Lucas, Timothy J. Lucas, Kenna (Peter) Holzen, Margaret (Sam) Kinzer, Becky (Phil) Herb, Carole Lucas, Marie (Steve) Robison, Janet (Mike)Watson, and sister Martha Johnson, a brother-in-law Eddie Lucas, a son-in-law Michael Carver, a daughter-in-law Jayne Lucas, 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
