Correne F. Hendrickson MUSCATINE, Iowa--Correne Faith Hendrickson, 88 of Muscatine, passed away on June 17, 2013, at the Muscatine Tower Apartments. "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain."--Philippians 1:21. Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Wesley United Methodist Church. Inurnment will take place at a later date. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Correne's name. Correne was born on May 7, 1925, in Washington County, the daughter of Floyd H. and Blanch Willey Edmondson. In June 1951, Correne was united in marriage to Raymond Lawrence Hendrickson, they later divorced. Correne worked as a realtor in the Davenport area for many years. She had also taught school, gave piano and organ lessons and leading Bible study every Tuesday. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Janice Hoover and husband, Dean, of Cedar Falls; a son, Scott Hendrickson and wife, Shelly, of Aurora, Colorado; six grandchildren, Daniel, David, Jeff, Jordan, Brooke and Madison; two great-grandchildren, Kenny and Eliza; and one sister, Myra Piotrowski of Muscatine.
