Beverly J. Heinemann, 78, of South Sioux City, NE passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Regency Square Care Center in South Sioux City, NE. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, June 24, 2013 at the Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE with Pastor Carol Jean Stapleton of St. Paul United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Dakota City Cemetery in Dakota City, NE. Visitation will begin at the funeral home at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 23, 2013, with the family present at 6:00 P.M. and a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. Beverly was born in Sioux City, IA on August 3, 1934, the daughter of Ellis "Red" and Mae (Chamberlain) Roberts. She graduated from East High School in 1943. She married Clarence Heinemann. The couple lived in Sioux City, then rural Dakota County before moving to South Sioux City in 1969. Clarence passed away on January 10, 2007. Beverly worked as a waitress at the Palmer House and various other restaurants in the Siouxland area. She also worked at Zenith, Swifts, Walmart and a Lakeport laundry service. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Red and Mae Roberts; her husband, Clarence Heinemann; and 2 brothers, Leroy "Lefty" and Darrell Roberts.
