Robert "Jerry" J. Finn

Jerry was born on Sept 19, 1947 to Robert "Bob" Finn and Katherine "Kate" Babcock Finn in St. Paul he was the 3rd of 9 children. He graduated in 1965 from Central High School. He joined the Army in 1966 and was very proud of his service to his country, spending some of his time in Germany before coming home to St. Paul. He worked for the City of St. Paul for many years before retiring from the Public Works Department in 2009. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents. Jerry is survived by his wife Susan; 4 daughters, Christine (Dean) Sand, Shannon Blake (Chris), Dana Finn, Melissa (Kyle) Hauck; 5 grandchildren: Madelyn, Brandon, Dakota, Will and Lillian; 8 siblings: Denny Finn, Barb (Bob) Schlundt, Kitty (Dave) Haider, Mike (Cheryl) Finn, Colleen Logan, Mary Richter, Pat Finn, Kelly (Greg) Searles; step-children, Lisa (Troy) Workman, Tanya (Tony) Peltier, Carli Gardner, and Chad Gardner; 8 step-grandchildren; numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Lake VFW. There will be an Irish celebration of life held at the Half Time Rec (1013 Front St) in St. Paul beginning at 2 PM on July 8th. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. The family requests memorials to the family in lieu of flowers.
