Elda M. Schley

Elda M. Schley, 90, of Green Bay, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the Jack and Ingrid Meng Residence. She was born on January 14, 1923 in Algoma, daughter of the late Edward and Elsie (Uecker) Nell. She married Lester Schley on July 29, 1945 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Algoma. Elda attended St. Paul's Lutheran School, Algoma High School and Door Kewaunee County Normal. She taught at Montpelier prior to marriage and then part-time at Redeemer Lutheran School for two years. Elda was also a Teacher's Aide for the Green Bay Public School System for 17 years. She enjoyed the company of babies and all children and had a passion for gardening. Elda greatly enjoyed her weekly visits and socialization at the Salvation Army. She is survived by her three sons, Gary (Pat), Steve, Mark (Nona); a daughter, Diane (Ron) Wesoloski; 14 grandchildren, Lisa (Joe) Korban, Brian (Sarah) Wesoloski, Brett (Jenny) Wesoloski, Carrie (Mike) Nikson, Derek Schley, Danielle (Jay) Ellis, Brandon Schley, Shawn Schley, Sheena Schley, Tim (Barb) Holford, John (Marcy) Holford, Matt (Kim) Holford, Rachael Holford, Rick Latour and 11 great-grandchildren. death by her husband, Lester; a sister Ruth Haroldson and a brother Edgar Nell. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am on Monday, July 8, 2013 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 210 S.
