Jacqueline "Jacky" Rose Gezella, 84, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 25, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 21, 1928 in Green Bay, the daughter of the late Alfred P. Cropsey "Manny" and Gladyce E. Kennedy. She was a 1946 graduate of Green Bay West High School. On June 10, 1950 she married the late Robert L. Gezella at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Green Bay. Together they shared 56 years and raised four children. Seven years of retirement were spent in Silver Cliff where she was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary, sharing her passion for writing. She enjoyed her life as a housewife and babysitter to many wonderful children over the years that were like grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Robb (Carol) Gezella, their children Chad (Carrie) and Tricia (Matt) Schmidt; Susan-Holly Ambrose, her children Jesse (Susan) Olbrantz, Nicole (Douglas) Ertman, Sarah (Seth) Kornowski, and Adam Olbrantz (special friend Jessica); Nicholas (special friend Kim), his daughter Molly (Mark) Baranczyk; Margaret "Peggy" (Barry) Roff, their children Alissa (fiancé Ahmed), Olivia, and Hope; great-granchildren Gavin, Owen, and Caeden Gezella, ...[more]

anner Schmidt; Collin, Zachary, and Paige Olbrantz, Griffin and Kennedy Kornowski, and Carissa and Cole Ertman; two great-grandsons on the way; sisters Mary Seymour and Joan Herren, brother William (Nancy) Cropsey; sisters-in-law Elaine Gezella and Florence Gezella. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two stillborn sons, Gregory Peter and Gregory Jon, son-in-law Daniel Ambrose; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Chuck Herren, Darrell Seymour, Agnes (Bill) Goral, John (Emily) Gezella, Ed (Ruth) Gezella, Joseph (Margaret) Gezella, Frances (Michael) Peters, Adolph Gezella, Chester Gezella, Ceil (Richard) Schmechel, and Eleanor (Paul) Coenen; Aunts Kathryn Cropsey and Lois Kennedy; mother and father-in-law Leo and Julia (Piontek) Gezella; many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends who she was close to since school days. Jacqueline was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church and Silver Cliff Chapel. Per her wishes, there will be a private service for immediate family. Entombment will be in the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com.
