ethodist Church. Jack ran the scorer's table clock for Nevada football and basketball games for over 40 years. After retirement in 1990, he and Marilyn took several trips, especially enjoying the trip to Norway and Germany in 2006. Jack loved all sports, especially baseball, basketball and football. He was an avid UNI Panther fan and very proud of his children and grandchildren. He had a keen sense of humor, loved coaching and competition, enjoyed a good joke and especially loved listening to Marilyn play the piano. Jack is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn; children Jeff (Betsy) of Lenexa, Kansas, Julie (David) Larson of Tipton, Iowa and Jamie (Barb) of Lee's Summit, Missouri. Grandchildren Carrie Larson, Chelsey Miller (Erik), Jennifer Argotsinger, Matthew Argotsinger, Emily Argotsinger, Kerstie Larson, Jill Argotsinger, Ryan Argotsinger and Andrew Argotsinger; Sister-in-laws Maribelle Betterton (Richard) of Cedar Falls, Iowa; Opal Olson of Mapleton, Iowa; Jeanette Argotsinger of Waterloo, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and brother Victor E. Argotsinger in 1996. Memorials can be directed to the Chet Ryan Mortuary in care of the Jack D. Argotsinger family in Nevada. The money will be used to establish the Coach Argotsinger scholarship fund for a Nevada High School graduate. Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada has been entrusted with the care of Jack and his family.
