Earl G. Henry

Died peacefully on August 9, 2013, age 99. Preceded in death by Kathryn, his beloved wife of 71 years. Loving father of Patricia (Robert Munro) Finlayson and Thomas (Joan) Henry. Devoted grandfather of Kristine, Andrew, Julie, Jill, Katherine and Charles. Loved by 10 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Villas at Granville Community Center, 8616 North 72nd Street, on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Reception immediately following the service. Private entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park. Earl was a teacher and principal in Thiensville and the Milwaukee Public Schools until his retirement in 1979. He was the choral director at Washington Park Lutheran Church, Trinity Episcopal Church and Pilgrim Congregational Church, where he was a member for over 75 years. He also directed the Line Material Chorus and the Schlitz Chorus.
