Margaret Amelia Hanson

Margaret Hanson, age 95 years of Cedarburg, passed away at her residence on Sunday evening, August 18, 2013 at the age of 95 years. She was born July 14, 1918 in Brandon, WI, daughter of Carl and Clara Wilkes Hess. On August 20, 1940, she married Benjamin Hanson in Brandon. From 1939 to retirement in 1980, Margaret was a daily presence alongside Benjamin in the family business, Hanson Pontiac Sales and Service in Cedarburg. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cedarburg and enjoyed crocheting, traveling, and crafts. She is survived by her husband Benjamin of Cedarburg, two sons Wayne (Janet) Hanson of Madison and Lloyd (Susan) Hanson of Shorewood, three grandchildren Brynn Hanson of Orleans, France, Ann Hanson of Chicago and Jed Hanson of Shorewood ,one greatgrandson Benjamin Hanson-Nogues, sister in law Sherry Orbeck of Sun City West, AZ, brother in law Al Aplin of Oviedo, FL, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two sisters. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 11 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, N60 W6047 Columbia Road, Cedarburg.
