Margaret Ann Koep was born on January 20, 1922, in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota to the late John and Ida (Lorin) Sutter. She received her education in the Detroit Lakes Public Schools; graduating in the Class of 1940.
On June 27, 1948, Margaret was united in marriage to Ray L. Koep in Detroit Lakes. After marriage, they lived in Windom where they raised their three children, David, Peter and Janet. Through the years, Margaret worked at the Good Samaritan Society-Sogge Memorial in Windom along with being a loving wife, mother and grandma. Margaret and Ray were longtime, active members of the American Lutheran Church in Windom where Margaret taught Sunday school and led many Bible studies. Margaret also had several enjoyments in life which included reading, flower gardening and Bible Study.
In January of 2005, Margaret became a resident of Doman Rose in Lakefield until moving to the Good Samaritan Society-Sogge Memorial in Windom in December of 2009 where she passed away on Sunday evening, September 1, 2013, at the age of 91 years.

Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Ray, her parents, four brothers, Melvin, Harold, Rudy and John; and one sister, Alma Sutter.
