Elizabeth "Betty" Cullen

Elizabeth "Betty" Cullen, age 105, died on Sunday Sept 15, 2013 at the Waunakee Manor Health Care Center at the age of 105. She was born on July 31, 1908 in the Town of Berry to Michael and Regina (Struby) Kelter. She married Francis Cullen and he preceded her in death in 1990. Betty worked for a number of years as the cook at several sorority houses at UW Madison. After her retirement she lived in Tucson, Arizona before moving to Waunakee in 2005. Betty was very active with her church and loved to play cards and be with her family, they meant everything to her. Survivors include her three sons; Fred, Frank (Jean) and Michael (Kay); four grandchildren Debra, Keith, Laura, and Joan, six great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son Dennis; a daughter- in-law Sharon; a grandson Gary; five sisters Rosalyn Kelter, Mary Michels, Katherine Spahn, Clara Frey, Sister Desponsata and a brother Mike Kelter. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 209 South St., Waunakee.
