was a longtime member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Windom where he sang in the choir and helped with Meals on Wheels. He also was a member of the American Legion, DAV, Veterans Administration, Karz and Trux Car Club and the Hardee's Coffee Group. He had many enjoyments in life which included attending many auctions, coffee at Hardee's, gardening, hunting, socializing, debating, watching NASCAR, cars in general, and most of all, his family. Mike also was known as a proud Democrat and was very proud to be a Vietnam Veteran. Mike is survived by his wife, Jan of Windom; four daughters, Angie Niemeier (Darrin) of Kansas City, MO; Melissa Doboszenski (Scot) of Tacoma, WA and their daughter, Savana; Amanda Gordon (Tony Clark) of Gulf Breeze, FL and their daughters, Mikayla and Emma; Sheila Bucher (Joey) of Windom and their children, Cole, Austin, Trevor, Makenna, Peyton, Gracie and Mason; two sisters and one brother, Deb (Mike) O'Hara of Renner, SD; Rita (Jack) Nelson of Montrose, SD; Charles (Cathy) Gordon of Montrose, SD; and several nieces, nephews and friends. Mike is preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Shayla Niemeier. Blessed be the memory of Michael Dean Gordon.
