Donald Ciha

Donald L. Ciha, age 87, of Green Bay, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2013. He was born in Green Bay on November 12, 1925, son of the late John and Mary (Klucheski) Ciha. Donald served his country with the US Marine Corp during WWII. On May 24, 1949, Donald was united in marriage to Rita Marie Zey, she preceded him in death on June 14, 1992. Donald was a kind and gentle man who always had a smile on his face. Donald went on his daily walks with a pocket full of treats and over the years, he made many four legged friends along the way. After retirement Donald volunteered delivering Meals-on-Wheels. Donald is survived by his two children, David (Cynthia) Ciha and Terri Treml; four grandchildren, Nicole, Lindsey, Andrea, Jerry and one great-grandson, Sam. He is further survived by four step-grandchildren, Pam, Jody, Tracy and Randy. Besides his parents and his wife Rita, Donald was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence and a sister, Frances Buckarma. Visitation for Donald will be held from 9:00 am on Monday, October 28, 2013 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1423 Kellogg Street until the hour of Mass at 11:00 am with Fr. Donald Everts presiding.
