Linda Kaye Hoefing

Linda Hoefing, of Fort Dodge, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013 at her home suddenly. Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel in Fort Dodge. Burial will be in the Summit Hill Cemetery in Pocahontas, Iowa. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday at the Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Fort Dodge. Linda is survived by her husband, Jim; a son, Scott (Jill) Harlan of Waterloo, Iowa and Jim's daughter, Christy (Carlos) Barberena of Victorville, California; and five grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers, Douglas (Teresa) Hall Brookings, South Dakota, Rick (Letty) Hall of Waterloo, Iowa, and Vincent (Maggie) Hall of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Helen (Dudley) Hall. Linda was born July 15, 1948 in Chillicothe, Missouri and graduated from Waterloo High School. She worked at Steve's Supervalu, Doc's Stop and the C Mart all in Webster City. On March 22, 2003, Linda married James Hoefing at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.
