s diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and fought the disease courageously until passing away on Wednesday morning, October 30, 2013, with his family at his bedside, at the age of 65 years. Jim was a longtime member of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Windom where he was an elder, an usher and worked on the finance council. He also was involved in his community as a member of the Minnesota Deer Hunter's Association where he was president for seven years, a member of the Arena Booster Club, 4- H Leader, and the American Legion Post 206. Jim is survived by his wife, Donna Dunse of Windom; two children, Shannon (Mike) Lenz of Cottonwood, MN; Micheal (Stacey) Dunse of Webster, SD; six grandchildren, Andrew Lenz, Ty Dunse, Emily Lenz, Alex Lenz, Tayne Dunse and Trey Dunse; brothers and sisters, Susan Clymer of Alpha, MN; Sandra (Joe) Bartosh of Aldridge, IA; Ruth (Glen) Dicks of Lakefield; Donna (Randy) Hendrickson of Lakefield; Chuck (Peggy) Dunse of Windom; and many nieces and nephews. Jim is preceded in death by his parents; nephew Allen Kolander; brothers-in-law, Ron Clymer; David Pavelko; Daniel Pavelko; and father-in-law and mother-in-law Ernest and Dorothy Pavelko.
