Robert B. Kekstas

Robert B. Kekstas, 88, Green Bay, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013. He was born on November 20, 1924 in Lithuania to the late Balys and Franciska Kekstas. Robert married Janina Kupstys on July 26, 1947. Janina preceded him in death on August 15, 2007. Robert was a loving husband and father. Robert and his wife immigrated to the United States from Lithuania in 1949. He enjoyed welding and was a handyman, who could fix anything. He was proud of all he accomplished. Robert enjoyed hunting but he especially liked to fish. Robert also enjoyed spending time with his grandsons. Surviving are his son, Richard (Diane) Kekstas; two grandsons, Paul (Melinda) Kekstas and John Kekstas, all of Green Bay; one grandson, Maximilian Jeffrey; a niece, Daiva (Al) Orentas and a nephew, Justin Rutka. Robert is further survived by other relatives in Lithuania. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rita J. Kekstas. Visitation will take place Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2771 Oakwood Drive, from 3:00 p.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 4:00 p.m. with Rev.
