Julie Nichols MEDIAPOLIS, Iowa--Julie Nichols, 56, of Mediapolis, died on Monday, November 18, 2013, at the Great River Hospice House in West Burlington. There will be no visitation or services. Cremation has been entrusted to Thielen Crematory. Julie was born on October 11, 1957, in Muscatine, the daughter of George and Wilma Gesell Sill. On June 6, 1983, she married Ronald Nichols, Sr. in Muscatine. She worked at the Muscatine Maid-Rite and also at Mr. Jim's Dry Cleaning in Muscatine. She attended Muscatine High School. Survivors include her husband, Ronald Nichols; two sons, Byron Nichols and wife, Adrienne, and Steven Nichols and wife, Jacqueline; three daughters, Rebecca Turner and husband, Robert, and Jennifer and Taylor Nichols at home; her mother, Wilma Sinclair of Muscatine; four step-daughters, Ronda Huston and husband, Carl, Audra Sill and husband, Gary, Anissa Nichols, and Regina Nichols of Muscatine, one step-son, Ron Nichols Jr.; 10 grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; five brothers; Michael Sill, Gary Sill and wife, Audra, Patrick Sill and wife, Tonya, Scott Sill and wife, Angie, and Anthony Sill and wife, Tina, three sisters, Barbara Chambers, Tamm...[more]
