Rebecca Lou Wells

Rebecca Lou Wells, age 68 formerly of Newton, passed away on November 26, 2013 at her home in Norwalk. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday January 7, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Newton Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com. The daughter of Milton and Rose (Smith) Schippers, Becky was born on March 23, 1945 in Newton. Those left to honor her memory include her children: Cheryl (Eric) Wiggins of Mitchellville, Chris (Bill) May of Des Moines, and Brian (Kelli Melton) Wells of Queen Creek, Arizona; nine grandchildren: Megan Wiggins, Wendy Wiggins, Samantha (Jim) Morris, Matt (Ashlee) May, Riley May, Reid May, Conner Melton, Bryton Melton, Addison Wells; three great grandchildren: Kaylen, Emma, & AJ Morris; sisters, Marilyn (Ed) Staley of Tucson, Arizona and Ginger (Herb) Johns of Longmont, Colorado and a brother, Gary (Dan Gallardo) Schippers of Des Moines.
