Tywanda Sherrie Winston, affectionately known as "Nig", was born December 22, 1968 in Troup County, GA to the parentage of Ms. Willie Mae Strickland and the late Mr. Johnny Clyde "Stick" Winston. God quietly called for his child to come home on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at Hospice LaGrange, GA. Nig attended the Troup County Public Schools, and was a member of the 1988 graduating class of Troup High School. Tywanda was a very quiet, yet friendly person, who devoted her time as a mother and hard worker. She was employed with Interface Flooring, West Point, GA until her health failed. Nig accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior early in life and united with the Keeney Memorial United Methodist Church, where she loved to worship and sing in the Adult Choir.
