Joan E. (Brown) Yeater, 68, of Miami Gardens, Florida passed away at Jackson North Hospital in Miami following a brief illness. Born in New Oxford, Pennsylvania on July 17, 1945, daughter of James Ernest and Mary Katherine (Costella) Brown Sr. A resident of South Florida for the past 47 years, at the time of her death she was employed by SFADA (South Florida Auto Dealer's Association) as a Title Clerk for the past 28 years. Survived by her daughter, Leslie A. Hodson of Hollywood, Florida, three grandsons, John, Thomas and James Hodson, brother, John and his wife Betty Brown and sister, June Black. Also survived by her in-laws, Chuck and Laura Yeater of Statesboro, Georgia, Sharon and Jerry Priester of Belleville, Illinois, Richard Yeater of East Moline, Illinois, Eileen Cotler of Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Yeater in 2007. Visitation Sunday, December 15th from 4:00 ~ 6:00 P.M. at Fred Hunters Hollywood Memorial Home, 6301 Taft Street in Hollywood.
