m out to Janis Joplin, and focus on the beauty of life's happiness. In 1987, Ann gave birth to her son, Frankie, and settled down (somewhat) in Arnold's Park. The single mom of an only child, Ann was truly a superwoman - always accomplishing what to many seemed impossible. In 26 years, Ann never missed one of Frankie's countless sporting, music, or school events. Since moving to Arnolds Park, Ann worked at several restaurants around the lakes, making friends and creating memories with countless people throughout the community. Outside of work, nothing brought her more joy than spending a summer day in the boat with her nephew, Darrell and great-nephew, Riley; grilling out at the "hide out" with her brother, Dell; reminiscing on old stories over a nice dinner with her mom and dad; or hanging out on Smith's Bay with her dog, Maxie. Ann is survived by her father and mother; two brothers, Dell and Jay; nephew, Darrell, and his mother, Charlotte and son Riley; as well as many cousins and friends, who shared their own unique and special relationship with her. Ann's legacy, smile, and unfettered optimism of life will live on with her son, Frankie. A memorial service will be held at 11:00A.M. Thursday, December 19, 2013, at the Schuchert Funeral Home. A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, from 4:00P.M. until 6:00P.M. at the Schuchert Funeral Home.
