Devlin Lane Lockman

Devlin Lockman, 38, passed away Friday, December 20, 2013 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 28th at Gunderson Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Anderson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Devlin was born on May 13, 1975 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He grew up and attended schools in Fort Dodge, graduating from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1993. He went on to receive an Associate degree from ICCC and attended Iowa State University. Devlin had lived in Ames since 1997 where he was employed as a general contractor. Survivors include his mother, Linda Smith, Fort Dodge, his children Devlin, Aleesia, and Anthony; his seven brothers, Larry, Tyrone, Alan, Danny, David, Stanley and James and many other close family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Jim, paternal grandparents Mary and Daniel Lockman, and maternal grandparents Hertha and Einar Ostbloom. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
