Beth E. Johnson, 92, former Stoughton resident, passed away on December 21, 2013 at the BMC Continuing Care in Grantsburg, Wisconsin. Beth was born on August 25, 1921 in Evansville, Wisconsin, the daughter of Charles and Maud Boode. She graduated from Evansville High School in 1939.
Beth and her late husband, Curtis Johnson, were married in 1955 and lived in Stoughton until moving to Siren, Wisconsin in 2001 to be closer to the family. They were active members of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and then First Lutheran Church. Beth worked as an activity aide at the Skaalen Home in Stoughton for many years.
Beth will be remembered for her wit and sense of humor, and her love of family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Jean (Robert) Forsberg and Joyce (George) Benson of Siren, Wisconsin, grandsons Adam (Mollie) Benson, Ryan (Sarah) Benson, and Joshua (Jenny) Benson, and six great-grandchildren, William and Henry Benson, Annabelle and Alex Benson, and Aubrey and Rowan Benson, sister-in-law, Edith Johnson and many friends.
