ardener and enjoyed traveling with his family. After his retirement, Kermit and Gladys enjoyed winter months in Florida. In 2011, Kermit and Gladys moved to Renville, Minnesota. Kermit became a resident of RenVilla Health Care Center in Renville and passed away there on Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at the age of 91 years. Kermit is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Gladys Lillegaard of Renville; three children, Douglas (Cida) Lillegaard of Promissao, Brazil; Sandra (Dan) Licklider of Renville; Mark (Cheryl) Lillegaard of Windom; six grandchildren, Mandy, Megan, Jessica, Brandi, Sara and Eric; three great-grandchildren, Katie, Jack and Adina; sister, Grace Peterson of Heron Lake; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Lillegaard of Two Harbors and Mary Lillegaard of Lakefield; and several nieces and nephews. Kermit was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Adina; six brothers, Howard, Lawrence, Anon, Victor, Sigurd and Kenneth Lillegaard; sister, Alma Shippman; and grandson, Kyle Licklider.
