Emma Lou Copella

Emma Lou Copella, 86, of Hollywood, Florida passed away January 3, 2014. Born July 13, 1927, in Snyder, Pennsylvania, she lived in Erie until moving to south Florida in 1967. Emma was a member of the American Sewing Guild and a long-time member of Sheridan Hills Baptist Church in Hollywood. Survivors include her son, Theodore Edward Copella, Jr. (Robin) of Miramar, FL; daughter, Sue Ann Lutz (Fred) of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Ketti Lutz of Dallas, TX; Fred Lutz, Jr., of Nashville, TN and Gretchen Smith of Irving, TX; and great-grandchildren, Samuel, Emma and Lily. Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Edward Copella, Sr.; her parents, John H. and Emma P. (Matthews) Weaver; and 12 brothers and sisters. The Memorial Service will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2014, at Sheridan Hills Baptist Church; 3751 Sheridan St in Hollywood with Pastor Fred Steen officiating.
