Inez Irene Jackson, 88, of Dumont, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at the Dumont Wellness Center in Dumont, Iowa. She was born September 26, 1925, in Bristow, Iowa, to Lewis Arthur and Henrietta (Dohlman) McKinney. Inez graduated from Bristow High School in Bristow, Iowa where she was valedictorian. She was united in marriage on September 15, 1944, in Bristow, Iowa, to Gerald Jackson. Inez was a member of the Dumont Reformed Church in Dumont and the Legion Auxiliary. Inez enjoyed camping, bowling and playing cards. She is survived by her daughter Judith (Larry) Crooks of Rockwell, son Mervin (Wanda) Jackson of Gainesville, Florida, son Marvin (Fern) Jackson of Marion, sister Anna Marie (Lutjen) Beenken of Morrison, brother Kenneth "Casey" McKinney of Dumont, grandchildren Lori (Brian) Ayers, Carol (Dave) Clagett, Ryan (Cathy) Crooks, Heather Price, Meredith Smith, Christy Flores and Stacy Raisch and numerous great grandchildren. Inez was preceded in death by her parents, husband, seven brothers and sister Koert, Lucille, Dutch, Ida Mae, Jim, Lew and Darlene.
