Passed away Friday, January 17, 2014. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary (nee Zjaba); brothers Gregory Krohn and Herman Kohn; and sister Frances Migawa. Leo is survived by his son William (Mary) Kohn; daughter Mary Ellen (Kris) Kohn-Buday; brothers Norbert (Dorothy) and Victor (Jean) Kohn; grandsons Robert (Vickie) and Jamieson Kohn.
A devoted husband and father, Leo was also a well-respected and published photographer and author in the area of aviation history, most recently serving as a Director of the Mitchell Gallery of Flight Museum. Leo was one of the original founding members of the Experimental Aircraft Association. He was also an avid national and global traveler. Leo was an active member and parish leader at St. Aloysius Catholic Church for over 50 years.
