Richard Anderson Mahabir, of San Fernando, Trinidad died suddenly on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 while on a business trip to Miami, Florida. He was 32 years.
Born in San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago on March, 13, 1981, son of Dolores Degannes of Miramar, Florida and the late Cyril Mahabir.
Richard was raised in San Fernando, Trinidad and graduated from Presentation College in San Fernando, Trinidad. He furthered his education at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) in Newark, New Jersey majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
At the time of his death he was Chief Operating Officer of VMCOTT, a fleet management company in San Fernando, Trinidad.
Survived by his beloved mother, Dolores Degannes of Miramar, Florida, loving sisters, Janice (Pedro) Cedeno, Denyse (Arden) Cumberbatch, brother, Dennis Mahabir, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation on Wednesday, January 29th from 10:00 A.M. ~ 12:00 P.M. at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Home, 6301 Taft Street in Hollywood.
