January 27, 2014, at the age of 83 years. Marv was a longtime member of the American Lutheran Church in Windom where he sang in the Men's' Chorus for many years. He also was a longtime member of the Lion's Club in Windom where he was a charter member. Marv had many enjoyments in life which included farm sales, camping, fishing, hunting, visiting and coffee, playing cards and cribbage, and most of all, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Marv is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-three, years Bonnie Bottin of Windom; three children, Mike (Sally) Bottin of Madelia; Brenda (Tom) Meyer of Butterfield; Doug (Staci) Bottin of Madelia; foster son Rick Ulven of Mankato; five grandchildren, Rob (Dana) Bottin, Brian (Melissa) Bottin, Emily (Dan) O'Connor, Daniel (Susan) Bottin, Amanda (Adam) Britton; two step-grandchildren, Monty and Haley; 10 great-grandchildren; three sister-in-laws, Loretta Bottin and Arlene Carter, and Loretta Amsden; and many nieces and nephews. Marv is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Edward and Ervin. Blessed be the memory of Marv Bottin.
