Uncle of Stephen Radke, Victoria (Eric) Nelson, Lisa (Mike) Jones and Paul Manriquez. Survived by other relatives. Private services held in Milwaukee. Jim was born in Milwaukee, WI to John and Frances Dodson on December 12, 1950. He attended St. Agnes Grade School, Custer High School in Milwaukee. Afterwards, he obtained a Political Science degree from Marquette University. Although Jim dreamed of a career in law enforcement, he worked as a salesman throughout his career. This profession paired well with his outgoing personality and his enjoyment of fine dining and entertaining. His career started in Milwaukee and lead him to Minneapolis, MN, Cincinnati, OH and Huston, TX. Known as "Jimmy" to his family, he is survived by his father, John Dodson, and sisters, Carol (Jeff) Radke and Marilyn (Ron) Manriquez. ratefully acknowledges his acquaintances in Houston who provided support and encouragement during the last few years of his life. Their kind assistance during this time was greatly appreciated by Jim. Jim's family extends a heartfelt "thank you" to them as well. Jim was born to eternal life on January 16, 2014 following a car accident. Although Jim's life ended tragically and too soon, he is at peace with the Lord, Jim will be remembered best for his smile and outgoing personality. God bless his soul.
