James T. Carroll, 86, of Pembroke Pines, FL, went peacefully home to the Lord on Feb. 5, 2014 surrounded by his loved ones.
Born in NY, he proudly served in the Army in WWII, after which, he began a long 47 year career with the United Parcel Service. He moved to FL with UPS in 1969 and retired in 1995. He kept in touch with many of his UPS family, especially his friends in the "Retired Breakfast Club."
Jim enjoyed playing golf, cards, and watching all sports, but his greatest joy was his family. He lived a full life as a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jane Carroll, sons James Carroll, Edward Carroll, Adam Ratkevich, daughters Ava Paget, Alxis Ratkevich, Patricia Konnick, grandchildren Rachael and Sarah Carroll, Aspen and Hunter Ratkevich, Jagger Paget, Kayla and Kaitlin Konnick.
A family memorial service will be held Feb. 14th.
