Rodney "Rod" Gerald Miller, 46, of Hamilton, Illinois, passed away in his home on Tuesday, February 25, 2014.
Rodney was born on March 6, 1967, to Kenneth and Beverly Bolt Miller in Keokuk, Iowa. He lived in the area for most of his life and worked as a truck driver. Rodney served in the United States Army until he was honorably discharged. He was a member of the Warsaw Methodist Church and was a fan of Ducks Unlimited and Turkeys Unlimited. He was a Boy Scout leader and a life scout, and he enjoyed deer and turkey hunting, fishing, and mushroom hunting.
Rodney is survived by his father Kenneth and his companion Alberta of Keokuk; his two sisters: Jan (Pat) Maag of Warsaw and Sherri (Steve) Lowman of Hamilton; and his nieces and nephews: Megan Mathes, Michael Maag, Alan Ross, Matt Ross, Heath Lowman and Stephanie Fortado. He is also survived by multiple cousins, aunts, uncles, great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Beverly, his grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.
