Saturday, March 8, 2014. Age 93. Beloved husband of the late Florence Nauth for 59 years. Dear father of Pat Nauth, Jaci Nauth (Jerry) Volden and Mary Nauth Anderson. Loving grandfather of Cassandra and Danelle Anderson and the late Brian Yeko. Survived by sister-in-law Rose Pfeifer-Lob, Hot Springs, Arkansas, and brother-in-law Stanley Kohlmann, Brookfield, Wisconsin, and dearest companion of Jane Rudersdorf. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents George and Mary (nee Spindler), sister Georgine (Bill) Pfeiffer and brother Eugene (Marge) Nauth. Several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Henry (June), Leo (Loretta), Oran, Hugh (Arlene), Norbert (Alice), Gerald (Cathy) and Patrick (Phyllis) Gahagan, Rita (nee Gahagan) (Norman) Platz, Lenore (nee Gahagan) Kohlmann and Helen (nee Gahagan) (Melroy) Kestell. Howard served with the 4th Armored Division, U.S. Army in the European Theater during World War II earning five campaign battle stars, including the Battle of the Buldge.
