Donald Junior Holland, 89, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at The Madison in Fort Madison, Iowa.
Donald was born on February 3, 1925, in Keokuk, Iowa, to Harry Grove and Edith Brook Holland. In 1947, he was united in marriage to Dorothy D. Elmore in St. Paul Church of Christ in Keokuk.
Donald was a life-long resident of Keokuk and a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ. He owned and operated his own trucking business, and enjoyed antiquing, traveling, and playing card games.
Donald is survived by his wife Dorothy, his two children: Donna (Steve) Weber and Dianna Sue (Doug) Seabold, both of Keokuk; six grandsons, nine great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters. Other survivors include his sister Marcene (Richard) Whaley of Keokuk and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Lee Holland, Sr.; a brother and sister; and an infant brother and an infant sister .
A private family service was held Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at DeJong-Greaves Celebration of Life Center at 917 Blondeau Street with Reverend Matthew Hunt officiating.
Burial was at Sunset Memorial Park in Keokuk, Iowa.
