Duane F. Casey

Passed away peacefully, Sunday, March 23, 2014 at age 92. Beloved husband of the late Loraine E. (nee Kornblum) for 66 years. Loving father of Kathleen Casey, Terence (Diana) Casey, Dennis Casey, Timothy (Kim) Casey and Maureen (Bruce) McCallum. Proud grandpa of Kevin, Kelly, Stephanie, Sean Duane, Casey, Erick, Caitlin, Megan and Kylie Loraine. Great grandpa of Andrew and Casey Jr. Preceded in death by his brother Ronald and grandson Austin. Visitation at the Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Thursday, March 27, 4:00-5:45 PM. Remembrance and Candlelight Service 6:00 PM. Additional visitation at the Funeral Home Friday, March 28, 10:00-11:00 AM. Service 11:00 AM. Procession Wisconsin Memorial. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church or St. Anne's Salvatorian Campus. Duane was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII serving as Chief Gunner's Mate on the USS Missouri. Served on the Milwaukee Police Department for over 30 years retiring as the Captain of the 5th District.
