Friday nights in the fall consisted of hearing Brent's voice as he gave the play-by-play of the E-Hawk football game. In honor of Brent's commitment to E-Hawk football, he was named Grand Marshall of Homecoming in 2012. In addition to theater and E-Hawks athletics, he enjoyed goose and duck hunting, golfing, and he was a dedicated Cardinals fan. He enjoyed going to watch them in St. Louis with Brenda and Larry. On Thursday, March 27, 2014, Brent passed away near Everly, IA. Brent is survived by his wife, Brenda, and son, Larry of Emmetsburg; parents: Larry and Marge McAllister of Emmetsburg; two sisters: Brenda Kincaid and her husband, Tom of Longwood, FL and Charla Egland and her husband, Mike of Ruthven; a brother, Troy and his wife, Brenda of Emmetsburg; mother and father-in-law: Allen and Nancy Schulz of Slinger, WI; two brothers-in-law: Brian Schulz of Mallard, IA and Scott Schulz of West Bend, WI; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Kenneth and Ruth McAllister and his uncle, Kirk McAllister.
