Harry Adolph Bruhn NEW LIBERTY, Iowa--Harry Adolph Bruhn, 94, of New Liberty, died on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Davenport Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Davenport. Inurnment will take place in New Liberty Cemetery, New Liberty, at a later date. In accordance with Harry's wishes, no services will be held. Memorial donations may be made to the New Liberty Cemetery, New Liberty. The Bentley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Harry was born on December 24, 1919, in Scott County, the son of Adolph and Anna Huettmann Bruhn. He retired from Ralston Purina, Davenport. He enjoyed horse racing and playing cards at the tavern in New Liberty. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his sister, Hilda Bluedorn of Walcott. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, George, Waldo and Elmer Bruhn. [more]
