Robert D. Barker, age 47, of Holiday City Berkeley died on Friday, April 11 in Toms River. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived there before moving to New Jersey several years ago. Mr. Barker was employed as a carpenter for Ericksen Contracting, Staten Island. He is Survived by his mother, Janet; his sister, Deborah Ericksen; his brother, James Barker; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements were held on April 16, 2014 at Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. Cremation was private. [more]
