Anastasia A. Christ

MADISON- Anastasia A. Christ, age 78, died on Tuesday April 15, 2014 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. She was born May 13, 1935 in Greece. She met and married Aristidis Christ in Greece. Anastasia is a member of Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, and she loved to cook and garden. After she came to America, she worked making wedding dresses before later working in the family business in the kitchen at Nick's Restaurant. Anastasia is survived by her sons; Dino and Tom Christ, a nephew Bill (Nancy) Briamis, and a sister Vange Litsa, and also many relatives in Greece. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Aristidis in 2009. A Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday April 21, 2014 at ASSUMPTION GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, 11 N. 7th St. Madison, with Fr. Michael Vanderhoef presiding. Burial will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. A visitation will be from 9:30 AM until the time of the Mass at the church on Monday. [more]
