Larry Loring, 70, of Keokuk, passed away on April 17, 2014, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City after a brief illness.
Larry was born September 28, 1943, in Keokuk, Iowa, to George and Helen Antle Loring. He was united in marriage to Ginny Blankenship in Las Vegas, NV on October 3rd, 1973. Larry was employed as a home protection salesman.
Larry is survived by his five children: Chris (Tina) Loring of Keokuk; Larry Loring (Tara) of Graham, Washington; Jody Forman (Byron Tinkey) of North Liberty; Toni Lehman (Chad Smith) of Plymouth, Indiana; and Julie Loring of Tennessee. He is also survived by his two brothers: Claude "Crick" Loring (Phyllis) of Keokuk and Roger Loring (Lana) of Glaucester, Virginia; thirteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Judy and Jo Anne, and his brother Richard "Dick" Loring, daughter, Tari Hansen and two grandsons.
A gathering of friends and family to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, April 26, 2014, from 1-4 PM, at DeJong-Greaves Celebration of Life Center located at 917 Blondeau Street.
