Darrold Arrowwood of Rockwell died Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at the Sheffield Care Center in Sheffield.
There will be no funeral or visitation at Darrold's request. A private family interment will take place at the Hampton Cemetery.
Darrold was born September 14, 1923, near Park Rapids, Minnesota.
Darrold served as a paratrooper in World War II. After discharge, Darrold returned to the States where he was united in marriage to Shirley Jean Peterson, September 4, 1945. He operated Hawkeye Shooters' Supply in Hampton and then served with the National Guard until he started Tear Enterprises in Bradford, Iowa. He then moved the operation to Rockwell where it remains in operation.
Darrold is survived by his daughter: Jeanine (David) Brown of Rockwell, granddaughter Daina Brown, Rockwell, grandson Tim Brown, Rockwell, and great-granddaughter, Emersyn, Rockwell.
Darrold was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley and his parents.
Burial will take place in the Hampton Cemetery at a later date. [more]
