Born to Life October 19, 1928, born to Eternal Life April 29, 2014. Precious husband and father, a man of faith and integrity. Survived by beloved wife Joyce Jahntz (nee Winski), daughters, Holly Lynne (Thomas) Brown and Mary Beth Jahntz, son, Christopher Roy (Susan) Jahntz, grandchildren Shelby and Taylor Vold and Christian, Dalton and Hudson Jahntz, sister-in-law, Barbara (James) Ellison; nephews Thomas (Kay) Potenza, Richard (Patty) Potenza and niece Linda (Jeff) Coloby and other family and friends. Further survived by extended family, Diana (James) Mantz, John (Mary) Winski, Theresa (Donald) Konkel and grandchildren Jeremy (Dena) Konkel, Nolan and Sylvia Konkel, Joel (Miranda) Konkel, Kara Konkel, Ashley (Matthew) Nellen, Jonathan (Melanie) Winski, Connor Winski and Lauren (Brian) Max. STAFDA, organized in 1977 and now a worldwide organization. He was past president and council member of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church under friend and then Pastor, Norman Jole. Prior to 1960, Jack was a salesman for Great Western Steel Company. In additional to his involvement in his church and community, Jack enjoyed golfing, fishing, boating and especially spending time with his children and grandchildren. Jack was an avid reader and a great conversationalist. He was an all-around great man, always putting the needs of others ahead of his own. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation at the Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, Sunday, May 4, from 3:00-5:00 PM. Funeral Service at 5:00 PM. Reverand Thomas Potenza officiating. Private burial Wisconsin Memorial Park.
