Thomas Eugene Haight BURLINGTON, Iowa -- Thomas Eugene Haight, 75, died Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Great River Hospice House, West Burlington. Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, in Edwards Cemetery, rural Oakville. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Tuesday and depart for Edward's Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will be held from 6 until 7:30 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2014, at the Prugh Funeral Home Chapel, 317 North Fourth Street, Burlington. A memorial has been established for Great River Hospice House. Thomas was born on September 19, 1938, in Burlington, the son of Harry and Elsie Brueck Haight. On June 1, 1963, he married Rosemary Irene Breen at St. John Catholic Church, Burlington. Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Haight of Burlington; three daughters, Rosalee Fiedler and husband, Chris, of Muscatine, Ramona Walker and husband, Wade, of Morning Sun, and Rhonda Dittmer and husband, Rick, of West Liberty; one son, Rodney Haight and wife, Merri, of Robins; 10 grandchildren, Caleb, Drew, Michael and Noah Fiedler, Waylon Walker and wife, Rhiannon, Shannon and Brandon Dittmer, Kayla, Kelsey and Kolton Haight; two g...[more]
