19 years of age, Larry left the family farm in Walworth, WI, and spent the next 7 years working, and going to school, both full time. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1967 with a degree in economics. He first started and was President/Owner of his own Investment Advisory firm. Then, in 1983, he started Coordinated Capital Securities, a full service brokerage firm to complement his already successful Advisory business. In 1992 Larry was presented with an opportunity of a lifetime to take over and manage and be owner of nine realestate properties both multi-family and commercial shopping centers in both Arizona and Texas. He gave 150% effort to to develop these properties for the investors He loved his responsibilities with real estate and became even more successful he truly was a self-made man with no help from anyone He was respected for his honesty and integrity in all business endeavors that he was involved in. There will never be another Larry Peters. A poor kid from a farm in Wisconsin to a successful businessman. In 2007 Larry was forced to semi retire due to serious health issues. It was from this point forward we all found out how courageous and brave Larry truly was. No matter how ill Larry was, he always kept a huge interest in the market, a positive attitude, and a strong will to live. Always being strong advocates for the education of disadvantaged children, he and his wife, Donna have supported numerous philanthropic endeavors, which she will continue on. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Keith in 2001. Larry is survived by his mother, Blanche Peters, 98 of Walworth, WI, his wife, Donna Puccio-Peters of West Palm Beach, FL, and Madison, WI, his son, Morgan, 44, North Dakota, and Caleb 43, (Jenifer) of Cross Plains, WI, granddaughters, Madison 8, Megan 4, and Nataya 3, siblings, Brad (Donna) Peters of Belvidere, IL, Alan (Susan) Peters of Chappell, NE, and David (Eliza) Peters of Crofton, MD, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. A celebration of Larry's life will be held May 31, 2014 at the Cress Center, 6021 University Ave., Madison, WI. 53705, at 1:00pm.
