Kropp, Albert, aka "Big Al", 68 of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, passed away on May 16, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Chicago, IL on August 30, 1945. Albert was a retired iron worker, operating engineer, entrepreneur, CEO & founder of Kropp Industries. He is survived by his beloved soul mate, Lori Cirruto & her son, Evan; sons, Kurt (Anita) Kropp and Kevin Kropp; daughter, Robin Kropp; his loving mother, Josephine Emerson; his brothers, Jerry (Christine) and Randy; cherished grandfather to Ashley Anna & Lauren Leigh. The family will receive friends on Wednesday & Thursday, May 21 & 22, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Fred Hunter Funeral Home, 718 S. Federal Highway, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33316. A Mass will be held on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 10:00 am at St Sebastian Catholic Church, 2000 Marietta Dr., Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33316. Entombment to follow at Boca Raton Mausoleum & Cemetery.
